Small, Family Wedding | Elena & Cameron

Full disclosure, Elena is my cousin, and she and Cameron are amazing people! They contacted me last fall to ask if I would be willing to do wedding photos for their small wedding in Kansas City, MO. They kept things simple: they got ready and married at their school and the headed over to a local venue for a reception that featured singing, homemade beer, and lots of family! It was beautiful, simple, and tons of fun! We were there all day and got a lot of pictures.

Here’s the thing about planning your wedding: it can often feel like there’s tons of pressure from all sides to do a lot of different things. Mom wants this, friend wants this, instagram wants that. But the reality is: your wedding day should be exactly what you want it to be. It should feature the people you and your partner love, be at the locations that are important to you, and celebrate the things that matter most.
